7) Arnold Road
This is another wild and open sandy beach that is rarely fished. During the winter its almost not fishable as the large West swells are always bigger here. During small surf conditions this place can be awesome for perch and corbina. I've done best at a falling or low tide, looking for troughs and rips. Fish from the fence, North. Again don't mess with the government property to the South!
Directions:
From Channel Islands Bl. Take Channel Islands Bl. East to Ventura
Rd. Turn Right. Continue South to Hueneme Road and turn Left. Arnold Road is a
small farm road and is East of the Edison Plant. It runs across some nice farmland and
ends at a gate about 1/2 mile from the water. Lock your car and hide your
valuables. The place is patrolled by police but has had some theft problems over
the years.
