3) Ventura Harbor
Ventura Harbor has great potential for float tubes and small boats/kayaks. Some really nice halibut have been caught by float tubers in the relatively calm waters around area (1). The inside of the harbor as well as the inside edge of the outer break-wall are definitely reachable with a kayak and should be awesome. Some of the largest corbina I've seen also cruse the shallows along area (3). Area (2) is only fishable when the surf is small (rarely) but can have some great rips and troughs.
If your using a water craft BE CAREFUL! Some of the biggest surf in so-cal hits this area and the currents can be extreme!
Directions: From the 101 take Telephone Road West to Olivas Park Drive. Turn Right. Olivas Park Drive becomes Spinnaker Drive as you enter the harbor area. Park in the lot on the beach side near the North end
